The Russian Muftis Council expresses sorrow and condolences over the crash on the Volga

Russian Muslims mourn for the loss of life and pray for the miracle of saving the life of the missing.

At this hour, it is known that on board of the vessel, according to recent data was from 196 to 199 people, including 12 people dead, the fate of nearly one hundred is unknown. We pray to the Almighty Creator for the repose of departed souls in eternal life.

The Chairman of the Russian Mufti Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin sent condolences and words of support for Russian Muslims to the families and friends of the victims. We share the sorrow and pray for the dead.

We pray for the health of those whom Allah has kept life on earth.
