During today's Juma prayer in the Moscow Cathedral Mosque Muslims prayed for the victims of the earthquake in the Ferghana Valley.

The earthquake, which occurred on the night of July 20 in Uzbekistan, killed 13 people. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan. In addition, according to the agency, it also affected more than 80 people, 35 of them hospitalized.

Russian Muslims grieved to learn of death and all the victims.

We pray to the Almighty Creator of repose of the souls of the dead. We wish all the people of Uzbekistan fortitude, patience and courage in overcoming tragedy.

The Chairman of Russian Muftis Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin sent his condolences to the people of the affected regions.
