August 6th at 20:00 the opening of the annual cultural and charitable project "RAMADAN Tent" at st. Minskaya, 2B near the Memorial Mosque on Poklonnaya Hill will be held.
The Tent of Ramadan - a unique charity, cultural and educational project, which this year is held for the seventh consecutive time. Every day, Muslims invite all comers, regardless of nationality and religion to share the evening meal - Iftar and talk about their culture through both the language of traditional Eastern cuisine and a concert programm.
The Event is organized by the Russian Muftis Council and officially supported by the Moscow government.
The Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council Mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, representatives of all traditional religions of Russia, the Moscow Government and the State Duma will speak with the welcoming speech.
In addition, the event will be attended by the ambassadors of foreign countries and authorized representatives of the national republics, scientists, politicians, doctors, athletes.
The Tent is open daily in the evening from 7 to 18th of August. The planned activities can be visited by anyone, regardless of nationality and religion. Daily the Tent will host up to 600 people. The cultural program of the Tent of Ramadan included the Days of the national republics and foreign countries, Kids Days, Veterans Day, the Day of Equal Opportunities, Night of the Quran, Youth night and etc.
