Between November 13 and 14, Antalya is hosting Russian-Turkish Public Forum. On the instructions of the Chairman of Russia Muftis Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, the event is attended by first RMC deputy chairman Rushan hazrat Abbyasov as part of the Russian delegation headed by Konstantin Kosachev, head of the Federal Agency for International Humanitarian Cooperation and special envoy of the President of the Russian Federation.

Participants of the forum took part in a number of committee sessions. Rushan hazrat Abbyasov discussed a number of issues with the head of the Presidency of Religious Affairs of Turkey Hüseyin Yılmaz, including the issues of interfaith dialogue and resisting extremism and religious radicalism.

The Forum was established on the orders of the President of the Russian Federation and the Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic and the decisions of the first session of the High-Level Cooperation Council.

The main goals of the forum are developing social relations and mutual understanding between the two countries in the areas of arts and culture, education and science, history, mass media and business climate, tourism, interfaith dialogue, legal matters and others.

The forum has become a platform for discussing new ways and forms of cooperation and recommendations on strengthening Russian-Turkish relations, and first of all, the civic societies of the two countries.
