Crimean pilgrims depart for hajj On Wednesday, September 24, 150 pilgrims from Crimea went to hajj for the first time as part of a Russian hajj mission within the quota of Russia Muftis Council.

On the orders of mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, the pilgrims arriving from Simferopol were met in the Moscow airport of Domodedovo by first RMC deputy chairman Rushan hazrat Abbyasov and head of Muslim Tour company of Russia Muftis Council Ali hajji Gurdin.

Rushan hazrat conveyed the pilgrims the greeting words of Ravil Gayutdin, spoke with them, giving some practical advices, and wished them to perform all hajj rituals correctly.

It is worth reminding that a seminar on hajj and its special aspects for future pilgrims was organized in September in the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea with the participation of the head of Muslim Tour Ali hajji Gurdin.

This year, Russia is sending to hajj 16400 pilgrims from over 65 regions of the country.
