A delegation of Russia Muftis Council headed by RMC deputy chairman Rushan hazrat Abbyasov departed to Saint Petersburg on behalf of mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin to take part in high level international conference of ASEM (Asia-Europe Forum) devoted to intercultural and interfaith dialogue, "Intercivilizational concord as a necessary part of steady development".

The delegation also included director of RMC International department Ildar Galeev. The conference will be attended by ministers and heads of corresponding departments of ASEM countries (51 country), representatives of religious groups, ministry of culture and the Foreign Affairs ministry of Russian Federation as well as scientists, artists and cultural figures.

The conference will include a plenary session, round tables, panel discussions, press conference and a solemn reception.

Deputy chairman of Russia Muftis Council Rushan hazrat Abbyasov will read the greetings of the Chairman of Russia Muftis Council, spiritual leader of Russian Muslims mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin and  deliver a report on intercultural dialogue as a basis of intercivilizational peace and concord.

Asia-Europe Forum is an international organization that unites countries of Asia and Europe. It was founded in 1996. The main goal of the forum is development of cooperation between participant countries in the areas of politics, security, finance and economics, social and cultural spheres and other areas. Russia officially entered ASEM on October 4, 2010.
