Mufti Rushan Abbyasov, Deputy Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of Moscow Region, met with Bakhrom Ismailov, Chairman of the Uzbek Military History Society.

The parties discussed vectors of cooperation and stressed the importance of spiritual and moral enlightenment and patriotic education of youth, as well as the development of interethnic dialogue in society. The participants of the meeting agreed that in the Year of Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, they will pay special attention to joint projects dedicated to preserving the memory of the feat of the multinational Soviet people.

In addition, they agreed to consolidate efforts to support veterans, participants in the special military operation and their families.
