Leaders of Muslim religious organizations of the BRICS countries met in Kazan. The meeting resulted in the adoption of a Resolution containing important statements, including those on the multipolarity of the world, the preservation, popularization and protection of spiritual and moral values, and Islam's rejection of the ideas of radicalism and extremism.

The document, which is important for the history of the BRICS development, was adopted:

Ayatollah Ali Reza Arafi - political and religious figure of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Chairman of Spiritual Seminaries of the Islamic Republic of Iran, member of the Guardian Council (Constitution), Second Vice Chairman of the Council of Experts

Dr. Osama Al-Azhari - Minister of Waqf (AER)

Dr. Hassan Fa Ming - Chairman of the Chinese Islamic Association (PRC)

Dr. Khaled Rezk Al-Sayed Taqi Al-Din - Head of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs and Imams of Brazil

Mufti Haji Ibrahim Tuhfa - Head of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Head of the Council of Scholars, Head of the Ethiopian Interfaith Dialogue Council

Dr. Huzaifa Ghulam Mohammad Al-Wistanawi - Director of Jamia Islamia Ishaatul Uloom International Islamic University of India

Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin expressed gratitude to the spiritual Muslim leaders of the BRICS countries for visiting Russia and adopting such an important document:

"We are very happy that you responded to our invitation and came to take part in the meeting of Muslim spiritual leaders. It is extremely important for us, together with our foreign partners, to declare our commitment to spiritual and moral ideals, humanistic and universal values. With the accession earlier this year of a number of Muslim countries such as Egypt, Iran, UAE and Ethiopia, the Islamic aspect is intensifying. We, as Muslim religious leaders, on the eve of the summit of the BRICS heads of state, want to support the efforts of the BRICS countries' leadership for the sake of greater integration, creation, development of relations.", - said the religious leader of Russian Muslims.
