The General Director of the Center for Standardization and Certification "Halal" of the Russian Muftis Council Aydar Gazizov and Director of implementing the standard "Halal" Rinat Zaripov visited the Republic of Uzbekistan at the invitation of Uzbek company «Eomax».

The main aspect of the trip was the presentation of the Centre for Uzbekistan companies that specialize in the production of halal products.

Within the presentation Aydar Gazizov spoke about the development of halal industry and a system of voluntary certification of "halal" in Russia. The press conference participants were invited to the upcoming exhibition Moscow Halal Expo 2012.

In addition the Center made a certification for supplements manufactured by «Eomax» and as a result a certificate of the Center of Standardization and Certification "Halal" of the RMC was issued on the parcel of products.

The representatives of the Russian Muftis Council also had a study visit to Samarkand, to the company that manufactures sausages.
