On June 21, Ramadan Tent hosted an evening devoted to the State of Qatar, an emirate located in the northeast part of Arabian peninsula.

Head of RMC International department Ildar hazrat Galeev greeted the guests of the Ramadan Tent and told them of the warm relations existing between Russia and Qatar, and introduced the ambassador of Qatar, Mr Saud Abdel al Mahmoud. Having congratulated the guests of the Tent with the blessed month, he told them that all doors in Qatar are open for guests during Ramadan, he shared how people take vacation to devote more time to spirituality in this time of year, and also told them about his country's national food: asrit, lokum dessert and al-haris.

The cultural program included a captivating documentary about the State of Qatar and a music video of children performing song about Ramadan.

Head of the Cultural and Educational Programs Department of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Moscow Rashid hazrat Akkaziev reminded of that day's Ramadan Tent topic: control over one's actions and emotions and inner motives. Rashid hazrat sticked a leaf on the symbolical "spiritual tree" together with Mr al Mahmoud and voiced a number of tasks for the next day: appeasing one's wrath at its peak, being friendly with a person of different views, forgiving people who caused them offence.

In the end of the event, the guests were presented with a video clip about Qatar's educational institutions. Student Shamil who spent several years in Qatar delivered a speech from the stage, sharing his experiences and evoking listeners' interest in acquiring knowledge.
