First RMC deputy chairman Rushan hazrat Abbyasov met with the head of the Organization of Qur'anic Activities of Iranian Universities Hamid Farzam First deputy chairman of Russia Muftis Council and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation Rushan hazrat Abbyasov met with the head of the Organization of Qur'anic Activities of Iranian Universities, Head of the Qur'anic Information Agency Hamid Farzam. The meeting was also attended by the organization's advisor Rahim Haki.

Rushan hazrat Abbyasov greeted the guest on behalf of the RMC and SAM RF Chairman, spiritual leader of Russia's Muslims mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, and told of the programs and projects carried out by Russia Muftis Council. He particularly mentioned 16th Moscow International Qur'an Reciting Competition that will open its doors on October 11 in Moscow's largest venue, Crocus City Hall. It will be attended by Qur'an reciters from over 40 countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran. Rushan hazrat Abbyasov also reminded of the coming opening of Moscow Jum'ah Mosque with the attendance of the Russian President Vladimir Putin on September 23 this year.

Mr Farzam, in his turn, informed Russia Muftis Council of the projects of the Organization of Qur'anic Activities of Iranian Universities and the Academic Centre of Education, Culture and Research. He especially stressed the role of new technologies employed by the organization in its work, particularly in the area of Qur'anic sciences. Mr Farzam also presented Rushan hazrat with the smallest Qur'an carved in stone, less than 5 cm in diameter.

The parties discussed cooperation within the framework of Moscow International Qur'an Reciting Competition that will host an exhibition of the Holy book of Muslims in various languages belonging to various historical epochs in the foyer. Rushan hazrat Abbyasov, in his turn, told of the museum in the Moscow Jum'ah Mosque that could also host unique Iranian items.

In the end of the meeting, parties agreed to continue their fruitful cooperation.
