Saudi Princess: Takbir words can be stolen by terrorists Saudi princess Ameerah al Taweel, who spoke at the Arab media Forum last week, warned that the most compelling phrase in Islam — takbir (“Allahu akbar”) can be stolen by terrorists and those who distort Islam.

“From May 2015 to May 2016 there were 73 mln search queries about Islam or Muslim in Twitter, which demonstrates the common interest to this religion. However, on the first five pages of search results in Google there are images of people who make explosions, shouting out the words of takbir we use every day, and thus dishonour it”, — she said.

The Saudi princess, who is a well-known entrepreneur and philanthropist, summoned all Muslims to make efforts in order to change the image of Islam in the world.

Taking into account that the number of Arab users of social media amounts to 280 mln, Ameera al Taweel is convinced that if each of them posts a positive status about Islam, that might give some favourable results, reports Ansar referring to The National.
