Rushan Abbyasov (first deputy chairman of the Russia Muftis Council, deputy chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation) met with Omer Faruk Savuran, Counsellor for Religious Affairs of the Turkish Embassy in the Russian Federation, and Ali Cura, reporter in chief, deputy editor-in-chief for Asia and Caucasus of the Moscow bureau of Anadolu News Agency (Turkey). The meeting was attended by Islam Kozhevnikov, deputy head of the International Department of the RMC of the Russian Federation.

During the meeting Rushan Abbyasov greeted the guests on behalf of the religious  leader of the Muslims of Russia Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin and thanked them for the long-lasting cooperation in humanitarian, spiritual, educational, religious, cultural and informational spheres. The parties agreed to develop the existing partnership through the implementation of joint projects for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.

Following the instructions of the Chairman of the RBM of the Russian Federation and RMC Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, Rushan Hazrat awarded Ali Cura with a Medal for Merit.

Ali Cura thanked Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin and noted that the Anadolu Agency was always open to cooperation and would continue to strengthen the relationships with the RBM of the Russian Federation, providing the coverage of local and global events.
