Deputy Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, Mufti of Moscow Ildar Alyautdinov confirmed that Russian Muslims were ready to help refugees from Palestine, including providing support for students from Gaza studying in Russian universities,

"The Zakat Foundation under the RBMRF receives requests to help refugees from Gaza. There are many Russians who want to take care of Palestinian orphans. We are working on providing support for Palestinian students studying in Russian universities. We have compiled a list of 150 students who need financial support. Since no money is coming from the Gaza, we will provide assistance from the local funds, so that they can continue their studies in the Russian Federation," Alyautdinov said.

The Mufti added that representatives of the Zakat Foundation will visit hospitals and hospitals where Russian citizens arriving from Gaza will be staying and will provide them with the necessary assistance related to treatment and care. "The pain of Palestine is our common pain. Together we will overcome these difficulties," he said.
