Rushan Abbyasov, first deputy chairman of the Russia Muftisc Council, deputy chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, held a working meeting with Mr Ibrahim Al-Amri, Chief of Staff of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Russian Federation.

The main reason for the meeting was the end of Mr Al-Amri's diplomatic mission to the Russian Federation.

On behalf of Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, chairman of the RMC and the RBMRF, Rushan Abbyasov presented the diplomat with a letter of gratitude and expressed his appreciation for his efforts and productive cooperation aimed at developing Russian-Saudi relations and strengthening the ties between the two countries.

Mr. Al-Amri thanked Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin and the staff of the RMC for their willingness to implement projects together with the Embassy of KSA in the Russian Federation.

At the end of the meeting, Rushan Abbyasov presented Mr. Al-Amri with a photo album "The Mosques of Russia", published by the "Chitay" publishing house last year in honour of the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the peoples of Volga Bulgaria.
