Russian and Saudi Muslims help those in need A charity event organised by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre together and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Russian Federation took place at the Moscow Cathedral Mosque. As a part of this event, dates will be sent to regional Religious Boards on behalf of the Saudi leadership, in particular the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The deputy chairman of the Russia Muftis Council, deputy chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation Rushan Abbyasov, deputy Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia to the Russian Federation Mr Muhammad bin Saad bin Tiwal, as well as representatives of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre — Mr. Umar Al-Askar and Mr. Sultan Al-Sultan — delivered the first batch of dates to iregional mams and chairmen. The dates will be distributed among large families and those in need, elderly and disabled people, all those who faced difficult life situation.

Rushan Abbyasovexpressed gratitude to the King of Saudi Arabia, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, as well as the management of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, for this charity event, which has now become a tradition.
