Today in the embassy of Lebanon in Moscow Rushan hazrat Abbyasov, first deputy chairman of the Russia Muftis Council and the Spiritual Bpard of Muslims of Russiam met Chawki Bou Nassar, ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lebanon in Russia.
In the beginning Rushan hazrat Abbyasov conveyed greetings from mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, religious leader of Russian Muslims, and expressed gratitude for supporting the charity campaign organized by Russian Muslims for Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
In his turn, the ambassador expressed a high opinion of the work of Russian religious boards chaired by mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin.
“It is gratifying to know that the campaign of Russian Muslims was arranged in response to the appeal of Saad al-Hariri, Prime minister of Lebanon, who asked to help his country overcome the crisis related to the presence of a big number of Syrian refugees in Lebanon”, — said Mr Bou Nassar.
Mr Ambassador also mentioned developing relationships between Lebanon and Russia in the sphere of religion and confirmed that the embassy would keep contributing to establishing ties between Russia and Lebanon.
«Lebanon and Russia are alike in their multinationality and multiconfessionalism, and a religious dialogue between our countries’ different religions will foster bilateral Russian-Lebanese relationships”, — said Mr Chawki Bou Nassar.
From his side, Rushan hazrat Abbyasov, first deputy chairman of the Russia Muftis Council, confirmed that Russian Muslims would keep conducting charity campaigns for Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
During the meeting the partied agreed to further develop bilateral contacts and relations.
