On 6 December, Tuesday, in the ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of Qatar the first deputy Chairman of the Russia Muftis Council and the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Russia, Rushan Abbyasov, met the deputy minister and director of the Administration for Islamic Affairs of the Ministry, Khaled Al-Ghanim.

The meeting was also attended by the deputy director the Administration for Islamic Affairs, Mohammed al-Mannai, the head of the RMC International Department, Ildar Galeyev, and the director and the Ministry official Tahir Adam.

In the beginning of the meeting Rushan hazrat Abbyasov conveyed greetings from Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, the head of the RMC and the SBMRF and the religious leader of Russian Muslims.

The parties discussed the recent visit of Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin to Qatar. They expressed a high opinion of the developing cooperation, putting an emphasis on education and the Moscow International Qur'an reciting competition.

Besides, the parties also discussed a version of the memorandum, which was given to the representatives of Qatar, and talked about the forthcoming visit of the Minister of awqaf and Islamic Affairs Gaith Al-Kuwari to Russia. The first deputy of the RMC and the SBMRF confirmed the invitation of the Minister from the religious leader of Russian Muslims.

The parties agreed on further fruitful and mutually beneficial cooperation.
