Meetings take place in Turkish Parliament The official visit of mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin continues. Today he had a meeting with Ismail Kahraman, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (Parliament of Turkey).

After reciting verses fr om the Holy Qur'an, mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin prayed for all Muslims who died for their faith and for the injured ones.

Mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin expressed grief because of the victims of the recent coup attempt, expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and tried to morally support the affected and injured.

The visitors could see with their own eyes the damage after the events that took place in July.

The mufti of Russia congratulated the leaders of Turkey on the democracy's victory and encouraged efforts for maintaining peace and stability in the country.

On behalf of the Russian ummah mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin assured the Turkish leaders that our historical and spiritual ties were never broken, that the productive work aimed at boosting spirituality of the nations never stopped and will continue with renewed vigour opening up new horizons for our nations. The Russian Muslims were responsive to Mehmet Gormez’s suggestion regarding salawats and prayers in mosques. The Russian Muslim’s leader told Ismail Kahraman, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, that funeral prayers for victims took place in the Russian mosques, wh ere Muslims stood shoulder to shoulder and asked the Creator to welcome the souls of the deceased.

During the meeting in the Turkish Parliament mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin met with the heads of delegations an dthe forum. He had conversations with Allashukur Pasha Zade (leader of Azerbaijani Muslims), Husein Kavazovic (Grand Mufti of Bosnia), Naim Ternava (mufti of Kosovo).

All participants of the Ankara Forum appraised highly the events related to meeting of Putin and Erdogan, and expressed their support for peace and dialogue between countries and nations.
