Ildar Galeyev, head of the International department, had a meeting with the representatives of the Embassy of Israel: Daniela Grudski-Ackstein, first secretary of the Political affairs department, and Alex Goldman-Shayman, plenipotentiary minister of the Embassy.

This meeting took place within the course of preparations for the visit of the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, who were interested in Russian foreign policy and were planning to meet Rushan hazrat Abbyasov, first deputy of the RMC and SBMRF. During the meeting Ildar hazrat Galeyev conveyed greetings from Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, informed the Israeli colleagues about the role of Islam in Russian society, and told about international cooperation, meetings and visits.

The representatives of the Israeli Embassy expressed a high opinion of the work of the RMC and SBMRF.

Daniela Grudski-Ackstein, first secretary of the Political affairs department, said: “ The authority of Mufti Ravil Gaynutdin and his experience of interacting with representatives of different religions and foreign colleagues can set an example for religious leaders in different countries”.

The meeting resulted in the decision to organize a reception for Israeli diplomats by the first deputy of the RMC and SBMRF, Rushan Abbyasov, along with a tour of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque.
