A summer NGO conference is now taking place in Strasbourg, France. The Interfaith Women's Council is taking part in its work. It involves the following members: Guzel Mubinova (assistant of the RMC chief of staff, head of Moscow branch of the Union of Russian Muslim Women), Galli Monastyreva (President of the «Russkiy ochag» fund), Svetlana Yakimenko (chairwoman of the “Project Kesher” Jewish women’s organization), Valentina Novakovskaya (President of the “Iskusstvo dobra” charity fund of the Catholic Cathedral). The Council participates in the events as a part of the delegation of the Federation for Peace headed by its president, Viktor Kamyshanov.

The conference takes place on 20-24 June. Its summer session treats the following questions: religion and women’s emancipation, success and failures, education and culture, democracy, social unity and global challenges, health issues and other relevant questions.
