Rushan hazrat Abbyasov, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council and the Spiritual Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, met a delegation from Bahrain led by the Deputy Head of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Abdurahman bin Rashid al-Khalifa, who was invited to visit Russia by Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin after his visit to Bahrain in March.

On 24 March during his visit to Bahrain Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council and the Spiritual Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, met His Majesty the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa al Khalifa.

During the meeting the Kind of Bahrain said that “the visit of the Russian delegation represents a practical aspect of out strategic collaboration and strengthening brotherhood ties between Russia and Bahrain.

During their stay in Russia the government officials are planning to meet their Russian colleagues and participate in the “Russia — Islamic World” session of the Strategic vVision Committee.
