"Moscow Cathedral Mosque will contribute to the causes of peace and mutual aid that we all need these days" - Recep Tayyip Erdogan "I consider the atmosphere of sincere friendship and trust that we all feel here in Russia a symbol of secure and peaceful future for the Muslims of Russia who are an integral part of their country," said the President of the Turkish Republic Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the solemn opening ceremony of Moscow Jum'ah (Cathedral) Mosque. "Moscow Cathedral Mosque will contribute to the cause of peace and mutual aid that we all need these days," said the leader of the influential country.

According to Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the historical centuries-old ties and brotherly relations between Turkish and Russian Muslims greatly contribute to the development of our bilateral relations, opening up new vistas and strengthening relations between our states.

Russia gives us an outstanding example of good neighbourliness and peaceful coexistence of people of different faiths and ethnic backgrounds together, beneath the same roof. "Today we witness again how Moscow brings all people together, uniting them on the basis of common spiritual values, creating common living space, showing them a picture of perfect future together," he said. "Moscow Jum'ah Mosque, the opening of which brought us together today, is a live, tangible example of this."

The President expressed his sincere wishes that the opening of Moscow Jum'ah Mosque brings blessings of Almighty Allah upon Russia, Muslims of Russia and the whole Muslim world.
