Working meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia

The Chairman of the Russian Mufties Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gainutdin met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tunisia, Mr. Khemaies Zhinaui.

 Mr. Ambassador conveyed the Chairman of the Russian Mufties Council  official invitation on behalf of the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Tunisia to visit Tunisia. The parties agreed to organize a visit this spring.

The parties agreed that the development of relations between the countries would benefit both. In particular, the parties discussed cooperation between the Islamic universities in Russia and Tunisia, and preparations for signing the Treaty of Cooperation.

During the meeting also raised the issue on the  process of  uniting Muslim organizations in Russia.
