RMC News2010-01-22 00:00:00 Moscow will host the First International Halal ExhibitionOn Thursday, 21 January, the Russian Mufties Council held the session of the Organization Committee of the First Moscow International Halal Exhibition – Moscow Halal Expo 2010, which is to take place from 3 to 6 of June 2010 in All-Russia Exhibition Centre (VVC). This event will provide a unique opportunity for the Russian producers of food products, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, financial, tourist and other goods and services corresponded to the norms of Islam to declare themselves on the international level, to exchange the experience and set business ties with domestic and foreign partners. Lately due to the higher religious consciousness of Muslims Russian market of Halal in on the rise. The consumption of Halal products have been increasing as well as the interest of the companies-producers both from Russia and foreign countries to the potential of Russian market. The First Moscow International Halal Exhibition will be a place where different representatives of Russian and foreign companies of Halal-industry will meet. Bisuness-presentations, training seminars and round labels to exchange experience in sphere of production, standardization and certification of Halal products will take place as well. One of the four days will be devoted to the study of international experience in the field of Islamic finance, banking and insurance. The seminars will be held by the specialists of International research institutions and finance companies. The program Moscow Halal Expo 2010 will also include the Day of Islamic culture in which visitors will be able to evaluate new trends for Muslim women’s clothing, to enjoy the music program numbers such as recitation of the Holy Quran and traditional Muslim chants. Muscovites and guests of the capital, visiting the All-Russia Exhibition Center in any of the four days from 3 to 6 of June, will be able to purchase goods they liked at producer prices. Organizers of the exhibition said that the First Moscow International Halal Exhibition is intended to be a significant economic event that confirms the openness of the Russian Federation to mutually beneficial cooperation with countries of the Islamic world. |
