RMC News2009-12-24 00:00:00 Mufti of Istanbul sent his greeting to Russian MuslimsDecember 20-23, 2009 the delegation of the Russian Mufties Council led by the Director of the Department of social and charitable, spiritual and educational activities of RMC Mustafa Kyutyukchyu visited Istanbul.
The delegation visited the Center of Islamic Studies at Board of religious affairs. They held meeting with the Chairman of the Center Akif Aidin, where they discussed the current questions of joint project of editing Islamic encyclopedia in Russian language in 5 volumes. To recall the project was approved and signed in October this year in Moscow. For experience exchange the Delegation visited the library at the Center, where all kinds of Islamic literature, science works and articles from all other the world were collected. The special feature of the library is availability of electronic catalog of all libraries in Istanbul. Daily the library is visited by hundreds of scientist and graduates, who works in the field of Islamic Studies. During the meeting with Mufti of Istanbul Mustafa Chagridzhi the representative of RMC Mustafa Kyutyukchyu delivered the greetings from Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin and informed on the progress of constructing the Mosque in Prospect of Peace, also on the results of last celebration of Eid al-Adha. Mustafa Chagridzhi sent his salutations to Russian Muslims and expressed his readiness to continue all kinds of interaction and experience exchange between two Board of Mufties to strengthen friendly ties. On the recommendation of Mufti of Istanbul the delegation visited a number of
television and radio companies to gain experience for further realization of The delegation visited Russian students, who study in one of madrassas of Mufties Board. The cultural and historical heritage of ancient Istanbul was shown to the guests and also they visited several mosques of the city. |

In the framework of
current protocol of cooperation between RMC and Board of religious affairs of
Turkey the delegation of RMC went to Turkey on working visit. The delegation
consisted of the Director of the Department of social and charitable, spiritual
and educational activities Mustafa hazrat Kyutyukchyu, the chief Imam of
Cathedral Mosque in Moscow Ildar hazrat Alyautdinov, the deputy of director of
the same department Kamil Mannapov.

project, on which RMC had been working for several months already and this work
is led directly by the Ildar hazrat Alyautdinov.
