The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia expressed their readiness to support the holding of the Second Moscow International Halal Exhibition Moscow Halal Expo 2011, which is planned for the May 26-28, 2011.

The Russian Mufties Coucnil received a letter on behalf of the First Deputy Foreign Minister A. Denisov, which says: “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia appreciate the work of the Russian Mufties Council to establish a dialogue with foreign partners, to build up a balanced and mutually beneficial cooperation with countries of the Muslim world. In recent years, thanks largely to the activities of Russian Muslim organizations the intensification of economic cooperation with countries that traditionally profess Islam, is observed."

Also the letter said that the Russian Foreign Ministry, within its competence is ready to assist in the preparation of the next "Halal" exhibition.
