Mufti visited the Turkish Mosque of Haninge area of Stokgolm. Later sheikh Ravil Gainutdin took part in a solemn meeting with the representatives of the Turkic peoples living in Sweden. The meeting was attended by Muslims - the representatives of the Tatars, Bashkir, Uighurs, Kazakhs and others. The Mufti told about the history and modern development of Islam in the Russian Federation, the Russian Mufties Council activity and the Muslim community.
The spiritual leader of Russian Muslims noted the role of the Turkic peoples in the history of Russia. The representative of the Tatars in Sweden Tyurkar Soukkan in his speech told about the history of the Tatars in Sweden. Accompanied Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin in a tour of Scandinavian countries Imam Muslim Tatar community in Finland Ramil Belyaev, in turn, emphasized the importance of communication and intercultural dialogue.
