On June 21st, 2009 at 14.30 in Moscow in the concert hall "Korolevsky" (the underground station «VDNH», further ground transport (troll. 13, 69 up to st. "Ostankinskaya television tower"), Academica  Koroleva st., 15) under patronage of chairman of  Russia muftis Council mufti  sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin with the  support of the Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference Dr. Ekmeleddin Ikhsanoglu X Moscow International Quran Reciting Competition will take place.

The best readers of the Quran from Russia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Finland and other countries will take part in the Competition. The Competition will be held in two nominations: Knowledge of the whole text of the Holy Quran by heart (hifz) and reciting of the Holy Quran by muzhaf (tilawa).

Visitors and participants of the anniversary Competition will witness colourful laser show, staging, and master-class on reading of the Holy Quran by Jury memebrs.

Upon termination of Competition press conference will be held with participation of the chairman of Russia muftis Council (RMC) mufti  sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, the chairman of the jury and the winners of the Competition will take place.
