You have to discuss a wide range of issues that concern Muslims of Russia and the world. Among them: the problem of development of spiritual formation and preservation of centuries-old heritage of Islam, the cooperation of Muslim communities in combat xenophobia, nationalism and other threats

The criteria of success shared by the great Russian nation and the Muslims through the centuries are focused, in this difficult times, towards three specific areas:

It is a great honour to have been invited to participate in this event, as a European Muslim, in this wonderful city. And it is not only an honour, it is also a tremendous intellectual challenge to be part of defining the positive role of Islam and the European Muslims on the Eurasian continent. I believe that all of us, whether Muslim or not, are grateful that the age of Europe’s division is over.

I believe that both Russia and the Islamic world should overcome the psychological barrier, about the thought that the fate of the modern world is decided only in the West, or somewhere overseas, but Russia and the Islamic World, as well as their joint positions, can determine the further course of modern international processes, their character and content.

Let me in the name of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan, religious board of Muslims and from me personally greet you and wish you all the blessings of Allah, fruitful work, mutual understanding and consent in discussion of the problem, successful search of unifying and acceptable means of cooperation in all spheres

Muslim diversity in Europe has its strength and weaknesses. Across Europe today, Muslims are navigating their life between opportunities and challenges.

The official relationships between Russia and Turkey have been going on for more than 500 hundred years since the era of the Ottoman Empire.  During this long period, there have been some struggles between Russia and Turkey.  However, the total years of war is a small percentage within the five centuries; the periods of peace are much longer.

I would like to take this take this opportunity to forward my utmost thanks and appreciation to the Russian  Federation, especially to the Russian Mufties Council Office and to my friend Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin because of his willingness to invite  me to attend this conference between Russia and Muslim countries.

The questions discussed at the international conference «Russia and the Islamic world: partnership for the sake of stability», are actual for our multinational and multiconfessional country and its regions. Especially for Bashkortostan which is the northern periphery of the huge Muslim world

II is a distinct honor and great pleasure for me to join you in cherishing the noble values of dialogue and mutual respect for one another as I believe they are put forth by this international conference titled "Russia and the Muslim World: Partnership for the Sake of Stability"

Let me welcome and congratulate the leadership of the countries, heads of Muslim regions of the Russian Federation with organization of the present conference.  I also greet the representatives of Muslim international organizations, representatives of science and culture of Russia and other countries, prominent public and religious figures, all the participants of the conference.

The God gave me the opportunity to attend such an important event that is held in the friendly Russian Federation, and I am happy to realize that among the participants of the present conference are such prominent religious and secular scholars

I am honoured to greet you on the occasion of the conference on Russia and the Muslim World. First of all, I would like to congratulate the organizers, in particular the Russia Muftis Council, for convening this conference. Under the approval of the President of the Russian Federation H.E. Dmitry Medvedev, this foresighted initiative encompasses a vast array of fields of present and prospective relations between Russia and the Muslim world.

Strengthening the friendship and cooperation with the Islamic world is one of the priorities and strategic direction of Russia’s foreign policy. It is gratifying that Russia’s obtaining the observer status in the Organisation of the Islamic Conference gave a new impetus to the constructive cooperation between our country and the Muslim states.

In the name of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation I heartedly greet the opening of the international conference that gathered many state, public and religious figures, authoritative Islamic scholars, representatives of science and culture.

Russia's relations with Islam and the Muslim World are deep seated and rooted in geography and history. Some of the most important chapters of Islamic history were contributed in this part of the world.

This is my pleasure to see at our conference numerous high guests from the far abroad countries, CIS countries, Russian statesmen and public figures of high status, envoys of Russia’s different confessions, scholars, artists, businessmen.

I came here on your kind invitation and I would like to pass – on behalf of the state of Kuwait- our friendship, our appreciation, our desire to cooperate, our appeal to tolerance.

First of all I would like to greet all participants of the Conference that in my view has become an important landmark in the history of relations between Russia and the Islamic world.
