The Conference will be held upon approval of the Presidnet of the Russian Federation Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev. The organizer of the event is Russia Mufties Council. The Conference is supported by the Organization of the Islamic Conference, Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation , Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

The official partners of the Conference are Islamic Cultural Centre of Russia, the Fund for Support of Islamic culture, science and education, Ministry of Awkaf and Islamic Affairs of the State of Kuwait, Administration of Makhachkala city, Regional Fund named after the hero of Russia Ahmat Kadyrov.

The present International Conference will become the largest event held by the Islamic society of Russia in the new millennium.

The objective of the conference is to widen and deepen cooperation between Russia and the countries of the Muslim world as well as the Muslim communities of Europe and America in the spheres of science, culture and economics. Significant attention will be paid to the role of the religious organizations – religious boards of Muslims and other Islamic centers united into Russia Mufties Council in development and strengthening of ties with cobelievers from other countries.

S.M. Mironov, the chairman of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, heads of Republics, heads and representatives of the Administartion of the President of Russia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Organization of the Islamic Conference, ISESCO, IRCICA and other Islamic international organizations, prominent scholars, religious and public figures from more than 40 countries of the world, will participate in the event.  

At the Conference Yunus-bek Evkurov, the President of Ingushetia will be awarded the Order “Al-Fahr”, the highest award of the Muslim society of Russia .

The participants of the Conference will have the opportunity to witness the exhibition of modern Islamic arts and photo-exhibition “Islam in Russia ”, and to visit Moscow Kremlin.
